    without revealing too much plot, can you explain why AmericanEast sucked? i haven't seen it yet but i'm not surprised by your comment cause the trailer did not look promising... still want to watch it anyway for the following reasons:
    1. Sarah Shahi
    2. support for Arab independent films in the US

    Sarah Shahi is a hottie, I'm guess she's the dark haired girl? Her accent is horrid. Everything in that movie reeks cheese, especielly the patrons of 7abibi cafe. The character that really got under my skin is this thugged-out Arab that's against all things Jewish, and he is so corny. There are some parts where you'll just laugh out loud, including the father/son scene. I'm all from supporting Arab films, I'm just not a fan of crappy films in general.
